WHAT IS THE TRANSFER FEE FOR FIREARMS?

 

The transfer fee for a single title I firearm is $25.00. Multiple title I firearms on the same 4473 result in a fee of $25.00 for the first firearm and $15.00 for each additional firearm. Multiple title I firearms on different 4473’s result in a fee of $25.00 per firearm.

 

  • Transfer of Firearms
    1. Transfer fees quoted above are negotiable for multiple firearms and reduced for repeat customers. This fee ( on transferred firearms ) includes secure storage for up to 1 week, unless prior arrangements have been made.
    2. It is the customer’s responsibility to make ALL arrangements with the transferring FFL, including delivery of required documents, payment of shipping costs, and to notify Gun Stock and Barrel LLC of any firearm transfer prior to its arrival at our premises. Notification should be made by phone call at 352-423-1627 or e-mail (please put the name of the transferee in the subject line) to: gunstockandbarrel@gmail.com The email notification should include: (1) the make / model of the firearm being transferred, (2) ALL contact information (name, address, daytime phone number, email) for the transferring FFL, (3) ALL contact information (name, address, daytime phone number) for the customer requesting the transfer. PLEASE! Do NOT call to check your gun’s arrival. Please rely on information provided to you by your shipping company for tracking information.

  • Purchase of Firearms

All firearms purchased from Gun Stock and Barrel LLC are subject to all ATF rules and regulations. All individuals and organizations purchasing regulated items are subjected to a NICS background check. Payment must be made prior to NICS check. The NICS background fee is $ 5 additional. We simply collect this fee and it is paid to FDLE.

 

  • Reception of Firearms

Firearms must be shipped via UPS, FedEx or a similar insured, reputable carrier that provides tracking information to the customer.

 

  • Return of Firearms

All firearms returns to original FFL are subjected to a $35 return fee, plus shipping paid by customer. A purchase agreement may be arranged for firearm not yet transferred between Gun Stock and Barrel LLC and the original purchaser (for not more than 80% of wholesale price). NFA items are on a case by case basis.

  • Refunds

All sales are final. Firearms and ammunition cannot be returned once transferred. In the event of a delayed/denied NICS a refund may be issued at customer’s request. The refund is subject to a 10% restocking fee.

  • Storage of Firearms

All firearms under our care will be stored on our secured premise, under lock and key, with no access to the public. After repairs or refinishing is completed, a storage fee of $10 per week will be assessed for each week securely stored. Up to 1 week is included with transfer fee. If storage fees reach the wholesale value of the firearm, it will be considered abandoned and become the property of Gun Stock and Barrel LLC as payment for the repair, refinishing or storage fees due. Contact to original purchaser of the firearm will be attempted with contact information provided to arrange payment of fees prior to transfer of property to Gun Stock and Barrel  LLC. Sufficient attempts will be made by phone, email and lastly by certified mail.

  • Abandoned Property

All firearms left in the care of Gun Stock and Barrel  LLC for greater than 60 days, without prior arrangements, will be considered abandoned. Abandoned property will become property of Gun Stock and Barrel LLC and subject to being sold at auction to recover repairs/refinishing and storage fee. Contact to owner/purchaser of the firearm will be attempted with contact information provided to arrange payment of fees prior to transfer of property to Gun Stock and Barrel LLC. Sufficient attempts will be made by phone, email and lastly by certified mail.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

We are currently open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday are  by APPOINTMENT ONLY. All customers who arrive without an appointment will be asked to reschedule. Exceptions are made from time to time. We have in the past and can arrange for delivery/pick up of your firearm.

We accept cash, personal check, cashier’s check, or USPS money order ONLY

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS at this time.

Layaway : No

SPECIAL ORDERS :  in excess of $ 100 require at least a 50% deposit, for FIREARMS and parts over $ 100 the full purchase price is required before ordering.
